ACEM Core holds its first user meetup

On October 9, 2026, the ACEM Core held its very first user meetup. On the same day, the new ACEM Core website went online, a milestone for our user community.

Core Director Dr. Shize Yang introduced the core’s new staff scientist, Chaoya Han, and Seb Deng, a PhD student in Prof. Cong Su’s group, to the community. The meetup covered common issues and procedures on the instruments and introduced new policies, and users shared valuable feedback.

We also officially launched the ACEM Core AI initiative. It gives users free access to advanced AI tools on the instruments, and brings the community together to build customized automation tools that improve the user experience and project efficiency.
